Meet The Beekeeper Lance Barnes
Lance Barnes has been a beekeeper for over five years. His work in construction and love for the outdoors led him to realize the tallent and love he had for keeping honey bees. He is very passionate about their survival and he knows honey bees play a huge part in our world. He is always furthering his education about bees and striving to teach others the same. He offers bee removal and cuttout work to relocate the bees rather than eliminate them. The honey from the bees at Blue Dreamin' Farms can be found locally and everyone who trys it LOVES it!
Honey Sales
The honey BDF sells is a delicious blend of the wildflowers found on the Farm and the wonderful mountain area that rests right at the lower entrance to Yosemite National Park. Our honey is highly sought after and sells fast! We occasionally have Orange honey for sale too! We offer different sizes; please inquire about sales below. Our honey harvest is a family affair where all of the kids play their part in helping, but the favorite of everyone's is "the taste!"
Custom Hives for sale
If you are interested in purchasing one of Lance's custom built long hives, feel free to give him a call. These hives are built to last and are well insulated. They have great eye appeal for any setting and are beekeeper friendly where you can enjoy working in the hive without lifting boxes off of others.

Bee Removal
Help! There is a swarm of bees! These girls mean you no harm and are at their most vulnerable state. Please call Lance if you need help with a honey bee swarm! Lance also does custom cut out work to remove bees from places where they might have made a home that wasn't ideal to the homeowner or even a nearby tree!
Pollination
We offer pollination services where our bees will be placed in your orchard for any length of time you need. Please contact Lance to discuss these services.
